Visitors to the Island have the opportunity to Guide snorkeling through one of the best preserved shallow reefs on the East African Coast.

Explore the Chumbe forest reserve,with its unique flora and fauna,including an abundance of birds,crabs,reptiles and rare nocturnal coconut crab.

Climb the light house, built in 1904,with stunning view of the Island and Zanzibar.

Overnight guests stay in one of our award winning Eco Bungalows,built using eco – architecture and eco – technology and constructed with local materials.

Chumbe Island is run as a not for profit Company. All income from Visitors are re-invested into the conservation and environmental education programmes operated within the Park.
